D-Perfect
✓ Profile verified by KEMA · October 14, 2026
D-Perfect, born Jameson Danger, is a Haitian singer and songwriter known for combining contemporary R&B vocals with modern konpa. Raised in a large family in Port-au-Prince, he was introduced to music through his parents and siblings. His early influences included Boyz II Men, R. Kelly, Usher and Chris Brown.
As a child, D-Perfect won a singing competition at school and received a guitar as his prize. Although he did not initially know how to play, he taught himself and began carrying the instrument with him while developing his songwriting and performance abilities. He also trained in photography and audio technology.
D-Perfect released his first original single, “M Pa Ka Di W,” in 2015. He subsequently attracted attention by sharing R&B covers online, beginning with a version of Chris Brown’s “New Flame.” In 2017, he joined the group L’As as a lead singer and performed on recordings including “Kite Lanmou Pale” and “Pran M Nèt.”
His solo career continued with “Cheri Ann Ale,” “Hello,” “Number One Lady” and other romantic releases. In 2020, D-Perfect joined Shabba and Steeve Khé in forming Ekip. As one of the band’s principal singers, he contributed to Back in the Game and Makiye Mizè W.
D-Perfect stepped away from active duties with Ekip in early 2026. The group later introduced new vocalists, while D-Perfect continued developing his individual artistic direction.
