IBiography

Thelo, born Thierry Cadet, is a Haitian rapper and singer from Les Cayes. He belongs to a newer generation of Haitian artists combining Rap Kreyòl with trap, Afrobeats, melodic hip-hop and konpa influences.

One of his earliest notable appearances was “Eske Sa Rive W?” with Magic Touch, BG, Rodney and Baky. He later collaborated with Trouble Boy on “Tout Moun Gen Mennaj” and with Wendyyy on “Randevou.”

After joining Traka Music Group, Thelo released the five-track EP Men Lolo in 2021 and the seven-track project Gade Non in 2023. His first full-length album, Alpha, followed in January 2025. The album combines lyrical rap, romantic music and introspective writing about loneliness, ambition and emotional pressure.

His audience is commonly identified as the “Chinwa.” Through his releases, Thelo continues to build a musical identity that connects Rap Kreyòl with contemporary Caribbean urban music.
