IBiography

Sanders Solon is a Haitian singer, guitarist, songwriter, arranger and producer. In 2007, he co-founded Harmonik with Nickenson Prud’homme and Mackendy “Mac D” Talon. Within the group, Sanders contributed as a vocalist, guitarist, lyricist and co-producer.

During approximately 15 years with Harmonik, he helped shape the group’s polished combination of modern konpa, soul and blues. His songwriting and production contributions can be heard across songs including “Illegal,” “Mèsi,” “Mwen Bouke,” “Cheri Benyen M’,” “Incroyable,” “Simplicité,” “Respè” and “Pap Ka Separe.”

Following a serious automobile accident and a period of personal reflection, Sanders announced his departure from Harmonik in November 2023. He subsequently founded Mood Band, giving him a platform to serve as its principal singer, guitarist, songwriter and producer. Mood Band released its debut album, Silans, in December 2023.
