✓ Profile verified by KEMA · October 14, 2026
Nickenson Prudhomme is a Haitian keyboardist, singer, songwriter, arranger, producer and bandleader whose work has significantly influenced modern Haitian compas. He began directing the group Explosif as a teenager before gaining experience with Djakout Mizik and later becoming a keyboardist and producer for Zenglen.
His solo album Première Danse demonstrated his melodic songwriting and vocal ability through songs including “Deception,” “Zanmi,” “U Are the One” and “Touche Kè Mwen.” In 2007, he co-founded Harmonik with Sanders Solon and Mackendy “Mac D” Talon. As Harmonik’s maestro and one of its principal creative forces, he has helped shape the group’s polished blend of compas, zouk and contemporary Caribbean music.
