El Magico
✓ Profile verified by KEMA · October 14, 2026
El Magico, born Manes Augustin, is a Haitian producer, beatmaker, arranger and keyboardist from Pignon in northern Haiti. He grew up in a religious household with a pastor father, and the family home shared a courtyard with his father’s church. This environment introduced him to music and musical creation at an early age.
He initially learned accordion, experimented with bass and eventually made the keyboard his principal instrument. His production style combines melodic keyboard arrangements, contemporary rhythms and elements of konpa, reggae and Haitian popular music.
El Magico became widely recognized through his work with K-Dilak and Bedjine. He is associated with major songs including “Fo Pwomès,” “Pouki’n Te Marye” and “Pwomèt Mwen.” He subsequently contributed as a composer, arranger and keyboardist to the duo’s musical development, including their 2024 album Misyon Akonpli. His documented credits also include work with artists such as Bruno Cho, Jeejee, Djapot, Pedro Force, Rutshelle Guillaume, Mebel Brun and Wid.
