Durkheim
✓ Profile verified by KEMA · October 14, 2026
Durkheim is a Haitian singer and songwriter recognized for his emotional lyrics, melodic choruses and fusion of R&B with contemporary Caribbean music. His songs frequently explore love, separation, disappointment, loneliness and personal vulnerability.
He began attracting public attention in 2018 through the Podium Quartiers singing competition. Early recordings such as “Di Mwen,” “Salut B” and “Banm Chans Mwen” introduced his intimate vocal style, while his appearance on Wendyyy’s “Lento” exposed him to a wider audience.
In August 2021, Durkheim released his debut EP, Secret. Songs such as “Insomnie,” “Stop” and “God Bless” helped define the introspective direction of his music. His audience continued growing with “Sof Lanmou M K ap Rete” and “Kow Kow.”
Durkheim moved to Canada in 2023 to study civil engineering at the Université de Sherbrooke while continuing his music career. In September 2024, he released his debut studio album, Tous Ces Détails. The 15-track project blends R&B, soul, pop, konpa, rap and amapiano.
He continued expanding his catalog through collaborations with Teddy Hashtag, MGCK, FridyBIB, Shana Louis and Ko-B EST. His connection with young listeners in Haiti and the diaspora has made him one of the prominent melodic voices of his generation.
