Charlin Bato, born Christong Charlin Bateau, is a Haitian singer and songwriter recognized for combining modern konpa with Afro-pop, R&B and Afro-Caribbean influences. He first attracted wider public attention through his participation in the Digicel Stars talent competition.
He subsequently developed his solo career with songs including “Only You,” “Kole,” “Lage Cha,” “Ti Manman” and “A Chak Fwa.” His music is characterized by romantic storytelling, memorable choruses and dance-oriented production designed for both Haitian audiences and the international diaspora.
